Whether you have an virtual audition, or are submitting for college

I've been happy to offer my experience in acting, audition technique

and video production to producing Video Auditions for clients of all ages.

Here's what goes into making a video audition in 4 STEPS

COACHING

01

Coaching is suggested for anyone interested in filming a video submission. Whether for a song or a monologue, this allows the performer explore a variety of approaches to feel confident all aspects of their performance, free from the pressure and logistics that come from actually filming before a comera.

This time also give an opportunity discuss some of the elements that lead to a successful audition and how to translate your auditions "beats" to the screen.

Coaching is $40 for a 30 minute session

PREPARATION

02

Between audition coaching and filming, there are a number of things that need to be done. Make sure you have checked and communicated all of the submission requirements for your videos; this includes duration, framing, specific information to be included in your slate, and any editing requirements or omissions.

If singing, make sure you have access to the required accompaniment. Select your audition outfit, this includes clothing, hair and accessories.

Audio and video equipment must also be "set up" before you arrive to film, and then "struck" after filming is completed.

Technical Set Up/Tear Down is $50

FILMING

03

Filming in the studio should take close around 30 minutes per audition piece. This may seem like longer than necessary to film a minute long audition, however this time is needed to allow for making any technical adjustments to video or sound, any in-camera (focus) rehearsal, and to allow for multiple takes.

Scheduled 30 min. film time is $40

Unscheduled overtime is $25 (for each additional 15 minutes)

Studio Rental Fee is $50

POST PRODUCTION

04

Once filming is completed, the resulting footage is processed. Post--Production includes synchronization, Color Grading, Graphic/Title design (if necessary), and Footage Rendering. This process can be lengthy and can take up to 4 weeks. Rush Processing is available for an additional charge, and subject to circumstance.

All videos are exported in 1080p HD and exported into both a "Full Body" (Head to Toe) and a "Mid Body" (Head to Mid-Thigh) framing.

These two videos are then uploaded to a Google Drive folder where you will have access to Stream and Download these videos, as many times as you would like.

Additional rendering to match different parameters is available for an additional charge.

Post-Production/Rendering per audition piece is $100

Additional rendering begins at $15 per export (prices depend on render complexity)
