Assassins

My first Sondheim. Such a fantastic ensemble led by Derrick Silva, and Michael Scott Wells as Booth and the Balladeer respectively. Assassins is one of those shows I could do forever, in any capacity. Apparently my sympathies are shared, as half the cast has already done the show in different roles. Awesome.

I’ve wanted to play this role since I was 9 years old. And now I have the chance to do the role in a much darker way. W.C. Fields said “Never work with animals or children.". Well this show has some of the most adorable children and animals on stage. So i guess it is my duty to be as evil as I can be to give those adorable creatures a run for their money.
